* Standard cut - The standard cut leather keeps the gun off the body and is cut so that you can get a confirmed grip. See pictures
* Combat cut - Removing the top portion of the backing. Some users prefer this cut as it makes it faster to accomplish a confirmed grip. However you may lose some comfort as the top inch or so of the firearm may come in contact with the body. See pictures

This is now my 4th Precision Holsters and I'm very happy with the quality & fit. The combat cut allows me better hand grip alignment and the factory retention setting is just perfect, no need to make adjustments for draw & reholstering. I can comfortably wear the 1911, HK VP40 or the Sig P365XL all day. Highly recommended! This holster is the perfect fit for not only my XD but equaly for me. Walking, sitting, in the car, on the couch, on a stool, absolutley comfortable and easy to draw. I can now reholster with one hand and slowley click into place . Love this holster.
